"Passenger Car" Fails to See Oncoming Traffic, Causing Crash

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A two-car crash shut down part of S. Bryant Blvd. at Knickerbocker Rd. on Saturday.

Police at the scene said the crash involved "a large SUV and a small passenger car."

Police say the passenger car was northbound on S. Bryant and failed to yield the right of way when making a left turn onto Knickerbocker. The SUV then struck the passenger car as it crossed the southbound lanes.

One person was transported to the hospital by ambulance, according to our reporter at the scene. Two people went to the hospital by private vehicle.

The driver of the passenger car was cited for failure to yield right of way.
