Eight Out of Ten Car Seats Are Installed Incorrectly; Here's a Free Car Seat Checkup

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Eight out of ten car seats are installed incorrectly according to information from the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service so the organization is partnering with the Texas Department of Transportation to hold a free car seat checkup in San Angelo Friday.

According to information from TxDOT, the car seat checkup will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2019 at the TxDOT office, 4502 Knickerbocker Rd.  

TxDOT says individuals need to bring their child and know the child's weight and height.
