SAN ANGELO, TX -- Light snow is falling in San Angelo Friday afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service Office, areas of light sleet and snow will continue across portions of West Central Texas this afternoon.
The best chance of seeing this wintry precipitation will be south of a Brady to Sonora line, where it may briefly fall heavy enough to create an icy spot or two on bridges and overpasses.
Otherwise, a few snow flurries or a little sleet will be possible as far north as San Angelo and Brownwood but accumulations are not expected.
There is a 20 percent chance of sleet and snow this afternoon with temperatures around 34 degrees.
The snow chance evaporates overnight as temperatures drop into the upper 20s.
