Police: Abilene Woman Locked Husband Out Before Shooting Him Multiple Times

ABILENE, TX -- An Abilene woman is behind bars after police say she locked her husband out of the house before shooting him on Sunday.

Jessica Cole-Hodgkinson was arrested on Sunday after police say she locked her husband out of their Abilene home on Sunday according to KTXS. Once the husband made his way into the house, he found Jessica in the bathroom with a gun.

Cole-Hodgkinson then shot her husband multiple times in the abdomen and right shoulder.

The husband received treatment at an Abilene hospital.

Cole-Hodgkinson was charged with aggravated assault family violence.

The investigation is ongoing.
