Ice Possibly to Blame in Rollover Crash Outside of Wall

WALL, TX-- Ice could be to blame for a rollover crash outside of Wall Thursday morning.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is currently investigating a rollover crash on US Highway 87 by Roberts Rd. The call came in around 9 a.m. The investigation is in its early stages, so details are slim.

According to our reporter on scene, it appeared the Silverado lost control on a patch of ice before rolling into mesquite trees. No official word on how the crash happened has been released yet.

Scanner traffic said at least one person was transported to the hospital by private vehicle. There is no information on their status at this time.
