Two Injured when Ram and GMC Crash at Dangerous Downtown San Angelo Intersection

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The driver of a GMC pickup ran a red light Monday morning in downtown San Angelo crashing into a Ram pickup sending one to the hospital. 

San Angelo Police Department investigating officer Brian Bylsma said the driver of a 2011 Dodge Ram pickup was northbound on Koenigheim. 

The driver of a 2002 GMC Sierra pickup was was eastbound on Harris Ave. 

Bylsma says the driver of the GMC disregarded the red light crashing into the Dodge Ram in the intersection blocking traffic. 

There were two people in the Dodge Ram.  One was taken by ambulance to the hospital and the other said she was going to the hospital. 

The driver of the GMC was not injured. 

The driver of the GMC was issued a citation for disregarding the red light.
