One Injured When Crash Sends F-150 into a Parked Car at Sherwood Way and Pecos

SAN ANGELO, TX -- One driver was transported to the hospital by ambulance Friday afternoon following a three vehicle crash on Sherwood Way at Pecos St.

According to San Angelo Police Department investigating officer Welch, the driver of a Buick Verano was eastbound on Sherwood Way and attempted to turn left onto Pecos St.

The Verano driver failed to yield the right of way to a Ford F-150 heading westbound on Sherwood Way.  The F-150 crashed into the Verano and the impact sent the F-150 into a parking lot where it struck a parked Fiat 500.  No one was inside the parked Fiat.

The driver of the F-150 was transported to the hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.

The driver of the Verano was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
