Trial Date Set For Man Charged with Murdering Zuzu Verk

 

ALPINE, TX-- The man who is accused of murdering a college girl will go to trial on April 29.

Robert Fabian has been charged with murder after his on-and-off girlfriend went missing in Oct. 2016. Fabian and Chris Estrada were both indicted after the body of missing Sul Ross student Zuzu Verk was found buried in Alpine.

His first pretrial hearing is set for Feb. 19 and a second for March 19. His trial is scheduled for April 29.

Estrada was charged with two lesser counts and pled no contest in April.
