Traffic Stop Leads to Seizure of $200,000 Worth of Heroin

CISCO, TX-- A traffic stop on I-20 led to Cisco Police to a seizure of $200,000 worth of heroin on Tuesday.

Sgt. Leslie Trammell conducted the stop around 9 p.m. on Tuesday on I-20 westbound.

The driver was traveling from Dallas-Fort Worth to New Mexico and consented to a vehicle search.

During the search, police say 5 lbs., 6 oz. of heroin were found in the back seat in a clothes bag.

The name of the driver has not been released.
