Businesses Step Up for Veterans This Veteran's Day Weekend

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- With Veteran's Day being commemorated this weekend, there are a few different places our Heros can go to get some appreciation they so greatly deserve.

  • Denny's will be feeding veterans on Monday, November 12 with their "Pick 4" menu
  • Buffalo Wild Wings will give veterans and active duty a small traditional or boneless set of wings with a side fry on Sunday
  • Starbucks will give all veterans, active duty and their spouses a free tall hot brewed coffee Sunday
  • Chili's has a special veteran's menu which veteran's and active duty can eat free off of Sunday
  • Cotton Patch is offering all veterans and active duty a free chicken fried steak or chicken fried chick on Sunday
  • Little Ceasar's  is giving all veterans and active duty free lunch combos on Sunday
  • Olive Garden has free meals for veterans and active duty on Sunday
  • Red Lobster is giving veterans and active duty a free appetizer or dessert if you come in on Sunday or Monday
  • Texas Roadhouse has a set menu that veterans and active duty can eat free off of Sunday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Golden Corral has a free "thank you" dinner for all vets and active duty Monday from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
  • Twin Peaks has certain items on their menu that veterans and active duty can eat for free on Monday
  • Wienerschnitzel is giving all veterans and active duty a free chilidog, small fry and small Pepsi on Sunday
  • Elk Lodge will be hosting a free lunch on Saturday following the Veteran's Day Parade at 2121 S. Chadbourne until 3 p.m. There will be a Vietnam Veteran pinning ceremony following lunch at 1 p.m. Any Vietnam Veteran, spouse or mother of a Vietnam Veteran that has not already been through the ceremony is welcome to participate. 
  • Ft. Chadbourne will be hosting a "Appreciate Our Veterans" Day, Sunday, at Ft. Chadbourne Museum/Visitor Center. WWII Medal of Honor recipient, Hershel Woody Williams will be the guest speaker. Doors open at noon for lunch and the program will begin at 2 p.m. All is free to veterans and active duty.
