Trespassing, Running from the Cops and Tossing a Gun Top Arrest Blotter

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The following people and their charges are from the SAPD Arrest Blotter for Thursday through Sunday October 11-14.

Ricky Lynn Arthur, 41, was arrested for three warrants and criminal trespass Saturday after police were dispatched to the Walmart on S. Bryant Blvd. for the report of a criminal trespass.

Joseph Anthony Carrasco, 33, was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm by felon, evading arrest detention, and four warrants Saturday after he fled a traffic stop near W. Avenue L and S. Bryant. Carrasco tossed a gun as he was running. The foot pursuit was brief.

Christian Bryce Cuellar, 21, was arrested for no signal of intent and no proof of financial responsibility during a traffic stop near Cecil and Coke.

Shawn Edward Sanchez, 33, was arrested for unauthorized use of vehicle, evading arrest detention, resisting arrest search or transport, criminal trespass, fail to identify fugitive from justice and the following warrants: three thefts of property, credit or debit card abuse, criminal trespass, burglary of vehicle, criminal mischief, and criminal trespass Sunday after police were dispatched to the 1100 block of E. 23rd Street for the report of suspicious activity. Police arrived and located Sanchez and a stolen vehicle in the backyard. Sanchez ran a few blocks and tried hiding in a shed before he was located and taken into custody.

Clayton Stroh, 23, and John Henry West, 20 were arrested for State Jail Felony Theft, Unlawful Carrying Weapon, and Possession Dangerous Drugs respectively after police caught them with over $14,500 in stolen tools they acquired during a vehicle burglary in the 4300 block of Riverfalls Court.

Rodney Lee Villafranco, 33, was arrested for resisting arrest search or transport and graffiti pecuniary loss Friday after police were dispatched to the area of W. Beauregard and S. Koenigheim for the report of a man spray-painting. Villafranco actively resisted his arrest. Villafranco later received a citation for passenger unsecured by seatbelt after it was discovered he removed his seatbelt during transport to the Tom Green County Jail.
