Suspects Try and Fail to Outrun Police on a Bicycle and on Foot

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The following are people and their charges from the San Angelo Police Department arrest blotter from this week:

Shandi Jean Moolhuysen, 43, was arrested for assault causing bodily injury-family violence on Monday following a domestic violence investigation in the 300 block of Allen Street.

Rosendo Ricardo Gaitan Jr., 39, was arrested for evading arrest detention with previous conviction, unlawful carrying weapon, riding bicycle wrong side of roadway, and three warrants on Tuesday after he fled a traffic stop on his bicycle in the 1100 block of E. 22nd. Gaitan eventually discarded his bicycle and continued to flee on foot but was unsuccessful. Police also located and seized an amount of suspected stolen property as well as a club.

James David Hamner, 51, was arrested for unlawful use of criminal instrument, burglary of a vehicle, and walking with flow of traffic on Tuesday after police were dispatched to the 600 block of Riverfalls Road for the report of a suspicious subject. During the contact, officers discovered Hamner had just burglarized a vehicle and was in possession of stolen property from that event.

Santana Neira, 22, was arrested for unauthorized absence from community correctional facility after police were dispatched to the 600 block of Avenue Z for the report of an unwanted subject. During the investigation, police learned Neira had escaped from the Roy K Robb CRTC facility.

Carol Deeann Unger, 47, was arrested for assault causes bodily injury-family violence on Tuesday following a domestic violence investigation in the 400 block of S. Van Buren.

Noah S. Silva, 18, was arrested for burglary of a vehicle and evading arrest detention on Tuesday after Anti-Crime Unit officers observed him committing a vehicle burglary in the 200 block of S. Irving Street after he exited the library. Officers attempted to detain Silva but he ran and a foot pursuit ensued. Silva surrendered in the 100 block of W. Twohig. Royce J. Silva, 23, was arrested for burglary of a vehicle as he was acting as the lookout. Additionally, N. Silva and R. Silva were charged with criminal trespassing (Previous CTW from the Library). The vehicle that was burglarized was left unlocked.

Ruben Renee Espinola IV, 24, was arrested for no valid driver’s license and Miguel Angel Lopez, 29, was arrested for burglary of habitation, fail to identify giving false information, and 12 warrants after a traffic stop which linked Lopez to a recent burglary of a habitation.
