SAN ANGELO, TX — Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is set to open on Labor Day.
The old Applebee’s location on Sherwood Way is transforming as the last pieces of the renovation come together.
The Fuzzy’s location is expected to open its doors for the first time on Labor Day, Sept 3, according to operating partner, Lee Escobedo.
According to the popular Ft. Worth based franchise’s website, the newest location will be in the former Applebee’s building in the shopping center in front of the Cinemark movie theater.
The original Fuzzy’s Taco is on Berry St. in Fort Worth. The website says the idea was to create a place with frosty drinks and good vibes and a place you would never want to leave.
Fuzzy’s Taco opened in 2003 and now has more than 100 locations nationwide.
Each Fuzzy’s Taco is independently owned and is designed take on the unique personality of the area.
