SAN ANGELO, TX — A grand jury indictment for the charge of murder was signed on July 11 for Rebecca Morse Adams, 58.
On Jan. 2, Adams was arrested for aggravated assault family member with a weapon after she hit her husband, Pearce Gohmert, in the head with a ceramic candle holder, according to court documents.
According to the grand jury indictment, Adams “did intentionally and knowingly commit or attempt to commit an act clearly dangerous to human life, namely striking Pearce Gohmert with a candle holder, that caused the death of Pearce Gohmert.”
Rebecca Adams was indicted for murder which is a First-Degree Felony punishable by 5 to 99 years or life in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.

Just like the old game Clue. It was Ms. Adams, who struck Mr. Gohmert in the head with the candlestick, while in the library, causing his death.
The reality isn't funny, but the candlestick just made me think of Clue.
