New Air Force One Fleet to Be Built in San Antonio

 

SAN ANTONIO, TX — Bet you didn’t know that the current Air Force One fleet is 30-years-old. Well it is and plans for a new Air Force One fleet have been announced.

The two new Boing 747-8 planes will serve the President of the United States.

The Department of Defense announced the news on its website this week, according to KTXS.

The Boeing Company will be completing the work in San Antonio and the planes are said to be completed in December of 2024. The company was awarded $3.9 billion to complete the project.

President Trump announced this week that the new planes will have a patriotic theme with red white, and blue colors.
