H-E-B Recalls Ice Cream Due to Possible Broken Metal

SAN ANTONIO, TX-- The Texas grocery store powerhouse H-E-B has issued a voluntary recall on two of their Creamy Creation ice creams.

According to H-E-B, their Orange Lime Sherbert and Vanilla Chocolate variety packs may have pieces of broken metal. This suspicion comes after routine maintenance found broken metal in some of their processing equipment.

“To date, there have been no injuries reported due to this incident,” the company said in a statement. “All products related to this recall have been removed from store shelves. H-E-B is working to have the products back on shelves as soon as possible.”

The variety packs were shipped only to H-E-B stores in Texas, excluding Houston.

Anyone who bought the packs are encouraged to return the ice cream to the store for a full refund.

H-E-B also encourages anyone with questions call their Customer Service at 1-855-432-4438.
