ODESSA, TX — (Press Release) Odessa Police arrested Dezirea Monique Delao, 19, on July 10 at approximately 1:30 a.m. for three counts of Sexual Assault of a Child — 2ndDegree Felony.
On May 23, a sexual assault was reported to the Odessa Police Department. Investigation revealed that a 14-year-old female had been sexually assaulted by a known person, identified as Delao.
The victim was taken to a local advocacy center for a forensic interview and investigation revealed that she had been sexually assaulted on 3 separate occasions by Delao.
Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, OPD detectives obtained 3 warrants for Delao, who was arrested and charged accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
