Anti-Crime Unit Seizes Drugs and Money in Sunday Night Traffic Stop

 

SAN ANGELO, TX-- A 21-year-old San Angelo man was arrested Sunday night after the Department’s Anti-Crime Unit found him in possession of approximately 147 grams (with packaging) of suspected Methamphetamine during a traffic stop. 

The stop occurred just before 9:00 p.m. in the unit block of E. Avenue J.  The driver, Eric M. Rivera, was also in possession of approximately $6,200 in U.S. Currency and approximately 12.9 grams of Marijuana.  

Rivera was charged with First Degree Felony Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 and Class B Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana. 

Rivera was transported to the Tom Green County Jail without incident.
