SAN ANGELO, TX -- Scattered strong thunderstorms are crossing the Concho Valley this evening and are expected to continue into tonight.
According to the National Weather Service, Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible this evening and tonight, mainly south of a Brownwood to San Angelo, to Ozona line. The main hazards will be dangerous lightning, and locally heavy rainfall.
Over the next few days, here is a chance for thunderstorms Thursday through Tuesday across much of western central Texas. The main hazards will be dangerous lightning and minor flooding due to locally heavy rainfall.
There's a 20 percent chance of rain continuing tonight with chances increasing through the weekend.
No word yet on any fireworks displays being canceled.
