Registered Sex Offender Charged with Family Violence Crimes on Weekend Booking Report

SAN ANGELO, TX — The weekend before July 4th showed 77 people arrested and booked in Tom Green County jail. The following are people and their charges from the San Angelo Police Department arrest blotter: 

Sterling Dale Simpson, 30, was arrested for resist arrest/search/transport and reckless driving on Friday after police were called to the 2300 block of Sherwood Way for the report of an armed driver that had been waiving a gun around outside the car window. During a search of Simpson incident to his arrest, officers located a butane lighter in the shape of a pistol.

Mario Alberto Gonzalez, 27, was arrested for reckless driving, driving with license invalid with previous conviction and two warrants on Friday after police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Camper Road for the report of a reckless driver.

Tara Marie Bristol, 45, was arrested for theft of property <$2,500 with two or more previous convictions on Friday (No further information).

Beau Allen Burn, 24, was arrested for theft of property >=$1,500<$20K on Friday (No further information).

Amanda D. Brown, 40, was arrested for criminal trespassing on Saturday after police were dispatched to Concho Bike on Austin Street for the report of an unwanted subject.

Jose Castro, 37, was arrested for public intoxication on Saturday after police were dispatched to the 4400 block of Southwest Blvd. for the report of a domestic disturbance. He was later placed on ICE HOLD.

Sean Patrick Skehan, 39, was arrested for a warrant and unlawful carrying weapon on Saturday during a traffic stop in the 800 block of N. Monroe.

Miguel Angel Ibarra, 40, was arrested for assault causes bodily injury-family violence on Sunday following a domestic violence investigation in the 1300 block of E. Harris.

Paul Wayne Englert, 36, a registered sex offender, was arrested for assault class c-family violence on Sunday following a domestic violence investigation in the unit block of E. 11th.

Justin Renee Duke, 33, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and an open alcohol container  and evading arrest or detention with vehicle or watercraft on Sunday after he failed to stop during an attempted traffic stop that was initiated near Knickerbocker and Red Bluff.

Juan Jose Arizaga, 46, was arrested for public intoxication on Sunday after police were dispatched to the Immanuel Baptist Church on E. 14th for the report of a welfare concern.

William Parker Singleton, 23, was arrested for unauthorized use of vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop of a stolen vehicle in the 500 block of N. Main Street.
