SAPD: Late Night Walmart Crash NOT an Act of Terror

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — (SAPD Press Release) The San Angelo Police Department is investigating an incident involving a man that drove through the northeast entrance of the Walmart located on Sherwood Way around 12:40 a.m. this morning.

A press release containing detailed information about the events leading up to the incident, how and where the suspect was taken into custody, as well as the charges the suspect is facing is forthcoming.

The Department would like to make clear that this incident was NOT an act of terror as previously reported by a local media source.

I know the electric carts frequently aren't charged up, but I never considered making my own drive thru! When shopping at WM, desperate times mean desperate measures I guess. Seriously tho, I'm glad he didn't get anyone hurt- or get himself killed. This could have had a very bad outcome.
