SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Police Officers arrested a Sweetwater man Saturday wanted for a string of vehicle burglaries in Clyde.
According to the Clyde Police Department, Friday afternoon Clyde PD obtained arrest warrants for Cody Tate, age 24 of Sweetwater, for offenses related to a string of vehicle burglaries that occurred in Clyde last week.
Tate is believed to be from the Sweetwater area, where he was also wanted by authorities. Police asked the public to contact their local law enforcement agency if they saw Tate or knew of his whereabouts.
Tate was arrested on warrants for burglary of a vehicle, theft of a firearm, theft of property up to $750, fraud, credit card abuse, running a stop sign, and failure to appear several times.
Tate remains jail in lieu of $71,210 bond according to the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office.
