Head-Butting an Officer Tops Weekend Booking Report

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Friday through Monday booking reports show 95 people were arrested and booked in Tom Green County jail. The following are people and their charges from the SAPD arrest blotter:

John David Acosta, 38, was arrested for fail to identify fugitive from justice and evading arrest/detention with previous conviction on Friday after he fled a traffic stop near E. Avenue L and Orient and then lied about his identity after he was apprehended. Acosta had an outstanding warrant for aggravated robbery.

Miranda Jane Ellis, 32, was arrested for disorderly conduct (vulgar language) on Friday after police were dispatched to the area of N. Malone and Koberlin for the report of an unknown problem.

Robert Gimenez, 23, was arrested for assault class-C and complaint interfere with emergency request on Friday following a family violence investigation in the 500 block of N. Chadbourne.

Omar Chappa Maldonado, 30, was arrested for assault causes bodily injury-family violence on Friday following a family violence investigation in the 1800 block of S. Harrison Street.

John David Geist, 34, was arrested for assault family/household member-impede breath on Saturday following a family violence investigation in the 300 block of Montague Avenue.

Joshua Huckabee, 17, was arrested for assault causes bodily injury-family violence on Saturday following a domestic violence investigation in the 1700 block of Cox Lane.

Robert Dean Munoz, 41, was arrested for and a warrant accident involving injury and a warrant for Austin parole violation on Saturday following a hit and run investigation near E. 19th and N. Chadbourne.

William Sean Tooker, 36, and Jennifer Garcia, 35, were arrested for criminal trespassing on Saturday during patrol of Mary E. Lee Park. Another subject, Fernando Javier Perez, 34, was arrested for public intoxication, resist arrest/search/transport, and fail to ID.

Aristeo Alfaro, 23, was arrested for public intoxication on Sunday after police were dispatched to Fort Concho Stables for the report of a fight.

Steven Gene Churchwell, 44, was arrested for public intoxication on Sunday after police were dispatched to the area of Sunset and Knickerbocker for the report of an intoxicated person.

Brandi Arlene Gomez, 29, was arrested for criminal trespassing and resist arrest, search, or transport on Sunday after police were dispatched to the 1200 block of E. Harris for the report of a civil disturbance.

Maria Delrio Martiarena, 23, was arrested for assault family violence-class C on Sunday following a domestic violence investigation near Lindell and N. Garfield.

Danny Shane Perez, 39, was arrested for evading arrest/detention with previous conviction and a parole violation warrant on Sunday near the 300 block of Amistad.

Fidelmar Jaimes Hernandez, 23, was arrested for assault causes bodily injury-family violence on Monday following a domestic violence investigation in the 900 block of Shiloh.

Caleb William Howe, 23, was arrested for possession of marijuana, driving while license invalid and fail to stop at line on Monday during a traffic stop in the 100 block of S. Monroe. Kelien De’shawn Thompson, 19, was arrested for two warrants during the stop. Thompson was in possession of marijuana and a handgun at the time of his arrest and was subsequently charged with possession of marijuana and unlawful carrying weapon.

Thomas Darryl Smith, 42, was arrested for public intoxication, resisting arrest/search/transport, fail to identify giving false information, and assault public servant on Monday after police were dispatched to the unit block of N. Emerick for the report of an unwanted subject. During his arrest, Smith kicked and head-butted responding Officers, causing injury.
