According to the Odessa Police Department, “between Jan 2018 and May 2018, detectives began investigating a series of deadly conducts, robberies, and aggravated assaults that occurred all throughout Odessa. During the course of the investigation, detectives learned that the listed subjects were split into groups that were in conflict with one another. The groups would perform drive-by shootings at one another’s residences, and this led to innocent parties being affected.
According to police, several interviews were conducted with various members of the groups, confirming that fact that there was conflict between the groups. Members had shot at each other, presented firearms against each other, and committed acts of violence on multiple occasions.
Evidence was gathered from each scene, bullets and spent shell casings, and detectives identified a consistent pattern of calibers between each scene. That evidence was later linked to specific individuals under investigation.
Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Odessa PD detectives obtained warrants for the subjects listed above.
Odessa police are still searching for Luis Rocha Aguirre, 18, and Isaiah Lara, 19, who are currently wanted for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, a 2nd Degree Felony.
Anyone with information in reference to the whereabouts of Aguirre or Lara is asked to contact the Odessa Police Department or Odessa Crime Stoppers at 432-333-TIPS.
