Police Recover Stolen SKG Engineering Work Truck in Record Time

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Police Department recovered a pickup owned by SKG Engineering late Wednesday morning. Witnesses said the police surrounded the pickup with guns drawn on Sherwood Way near the Lowe’s Home Improvement.

An SKG Engineering work truck was reported stolen sometime before 11 a.m. at a downtown convenience store on W Beauregard and Abe St. The driver of the truck was reported to have left his key in the truck.

The work truck hustler didn’t get very far if this is indeed the work truck reported stolen, now arrested less than 2 hours after the report.

An SAPD detective is on scene and the far left lanes on the eastbound side of Sherwood Way, just west of the Houston Harte Expressway is blocked while he conducts his investigation.
