San Angelo Man Jailed for Child Sexual Assault in Waco

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Tom Green County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a 39-year-old San Angelo man Tuesday on four warrants for aggravated sexual assault of a child after the alleged victim reached out to a teacher in Waco.  

According to court documents, Thomas Kevin Rende was arrested on the four counts after law enforcement officials from McLennan County issued the warrants.  

The victim gave a note to her teacher in Waco.  The girl alleges Rende went to her room at night on several occasions and touched her sexually.  Rende is reportedly an acquaintance of the girl and has denied the allegations.

Rende was arrested in San Angelo and booked into the Tom Green County jail.  He has been transferred to the McLennan County jail in Waco and remains there in lieu of $200,000 bond.
