SAN ANGELO, TX — Three cars were tangled up in a crash at the intersection of N. Bryant Ave. and 19th St. mid Sunday morning.
According to San Angelo Police Officer Wasson, a Chevy Traverse was northbound on Bryant, and took a left hand turn to head west on 19th. Meanwhile a Saturn was headed south on Bryant and collided with the left-turning Traverse, sending the Traverse into a rollover. The Traverse, as it rolled over on its side, nicked an eastbound white Chevy Trax waiting for the light on 19th St. to turn green.
Wasson said no one suffered major injuries, though one crash victim went to Shannon to get checked out.
Wasson said several citizens stopped and assisted the drivers to exit their vehicles, of which he was appreciative.
Who will get a citation in this incident is not determined yet, as the investigation is ongoing.

I really liked that you used the word "strikes" in this story. The "juniors" take over news writing for the big boys on the weekends, and I think there is a contest for using the word "slammed." One of the networks used that word in a headline in nine different stories last weekend-must have won the contest. And while we are at it-I am amazed at how the "juniors" get people to "open up." The other news organization had people "open up" all over the place last weekend. I think the "juniors" need a little more education before being turned loose on the public. Thanks for the space to rant!
