San Angelo Police Investigate the Death of a Westside Toddler

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- (Press Release) The San Angelo Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit is investigating the death of a twenty-one month old boy.

At approximately 5:35 a.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2018, San Angelo Police were dispatched to a residence in the 2600 block of Junius Street for the report of an unconscious person.  

Upon arrival, Officers located the unresponsive toddler undergoing CPR by San Angelo Fire Department Medics.  The toddler was subsequently transported to Shannon Medical Center and formally pronounced deceased by Justice of the Peace J.P. Howard.  The toddler was later transported to Lubbock for autopsy.

This is an active investigation and no other information is available for release.
