Substitute Teacher Arrested for Attempted Indecency with a Child

BURNET COUNTY, TX. – A substitute teacher and bus driver with Burnet CISD has been arrested and charged with attempted indecency with a child, reported Friday by the district.

Daniel Dilworth is accused of attempting to initiate inappropriate contact with a teen during his off-duty hours.

It was reported that the incident did not happen on school property and the district doesn’t believe this incident relates to his employment with Burnet CISD.

Dilworth was hired in Sept 2016 after passing a Texas Department of Public Safety background check and employment reference check, according to Superintendent Keith Burnett.
