Texas Governor Greg Abbott to be Honored at San Angelo Luncheon Tuesday

San Angelo, TX -- Texas Governor Greg Abbott is in San Angelo Tuesday for a campaign fundraising event at Angelo State University’s Legrand Alumni & Visitors Center.  

According to campaign material from Gov. Abbott’s campaign, he will attend the luncheon hosted by area GOP supporters with a VIP reception at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon at noon Tuesday.  

The Governor has no serious challengers in the GOP primary March 6; but will face one of a slew of challengers from the Democrat party in November.  

Abbott is scheduled to return to San Angelo for the Tom Green County Republican Party’s Lincoln day Dinner during the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo.
