SAN ANGELO, TX — In the flow of the local economy, businesses come and go. This favorite restaurant in San Angelo wants you to know they are back after an extensive remodel. And, they are hiring!
El Paisano Restaurant, located at 1406 S. Chadbourne, will re-open on Monday, Jan. 15, for lunch only, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Paisano has been a part of the San Angelo community for more than 25 years, and for the last few months it has been closed while undergoing major remodeling on the interior.
After so many years, owner Roberto Villeda knew that it was time.
“Our restaurant is always full, which is a good thing. But that means things have to be replaced.”
The interior was completely stripped down and is new from corner to corner—furniture, painting, paneling, and the tables are custom fit and hand decorated.

El Paisano Restaurant is a family-owned business.
There are brothers Roberto Villeda and Gerardo Villeda, and their father, Clemente Villeda.
Not only do they manage the restaurant together, but have undertaken all the renovations.
The menu is the same: steak bits at $10, enchilada plates at $6, and Guiso at $7.
And El Paisano is hiring. They need a full-time cook, a waitress, a cashier, and a bus boy or bus girl.
To apply for a position call Mary Soto at 325.262.0666.

That's funny because I was there a few weeks ago. Never had a bad meal there and the steak bits are really really good.
