SAN ANGELO, TX – There were 24 people arrested and booked yesterday in Tom Green County jail.
One of them is a man named, Jim Bob Flanagan, 38, who was arrested early yesterday for Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm By Felon, and Assault Class C Family Violence.
San Angelo Police dispatch received a disturbance call in the 100 block of N. Madison Street. After a lengthy investigation by the officers on scene, it was learned Flanagan assaulted a 40-year-old female.
Shortly after the first assault, Flanagan and another male subject identified as Ivan Louis Havins III, 42, became engaged in an assault against one another using a baseball bat. Havins was charged with Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon.
A handgun belonging to Flanagan was located on the scene and seized.
