Snow Flurries Ending as Temps Plunge to the Mid Teens Overnight

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Forecasters expect temperatures to drop to the mid teens across the Concho Valley Tuesday night and rise above freezing for the first time since Saturday tomorrow. 

According to the NWS, skies will clear this evening allowing temperatures to dip to around 16 degrees.  Expect another hard freeze tonight so take care of pets and pipes.  On Wednesday, afternoon temperatures will rise to around 51 degrees allowing the Concho Valley to thaw out a bit.  Temps will drop back into the teens Wednesday night as the Concho Valley experiences a gradual warming trend.  

 

SAN ANGELO, TX-- The National Weather Service is forecasting snow flurries across the Concho Valley and Big Country.

The flurries are projected in to the afternoon. The snow has already started to fall.

The forecast high is 27 degrees with a low of 17 degrees.

The NWS says that there will be trace amounts of precipitation and accumulation, but that could make roadways slick once again.

It is advised to use caution when driving over bridges and overpasses. The roads were littered with accidents on New Year's Eve.
