Grape Creek Places Athletic Director on Administrative Leave

GRAPE CREEK, TX-- The Grape Creek Independent School District has placed Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Justin Mueller on administrative leave.

According to Grape Creek Superintendent Angie Smetana, this move was made due to the ongoing investigation.

Mueller, 37, was arrested on Friday and charged by the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office on a charge of assault which causes bodily injury family violence.

Smetana would go on to say that, due to offices being closed for the holidays, no further action will take place until their offices reopen at the first of the year.

Mueller is free on a $2,500 bond. He was released on Saturday.
