17 lbs of Drugs Taken Off Odessa Streets in Traffic Bust

 

ODESSA, TX -- Odessa Police along with FBI agents and DPS Troopers stopped a suspect vehicle on I-20 in Odessa in an investigation netting five pounds of methamphetamine and 12 pounds of marijuana.

According to the Odessa Police Department, K-9 Diego alerted law enforcement officers that there were drugs in the vehicle.  Officers searched the vehicle and found the drugs.  

Police estimate the street value of the narcotics at $300,000.  The seizure was the result of solid teamwork by all agencies according to police.
