Police Investigate Homicide on the North Side

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - (SAPD Press Release) San Angelo Police are investigating a homicide that occurred just before 3:00 a.m. in the 1300 block of East 24th Street.

Upon arrival, Officers located the unresponsive 24-year-old male victim in the front yard, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  Officers performed life-saving measures on the victim until San Angelo Fire Department Medics transported the victim to Shannon Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.   The victim’s name is not being released at this time.  His body was sent to the Lubbock County Medical Examiner for autopsy.

Subsequent to the ongoing investigation, Police have located several persons of interest who are currently being interviewed by members of the Department’s Criminal Investigations Division.

This is an active investigation and no other information is available at this time.
