WATCH: Brawl at the Sweetwater High Pep Rally

SWEETWATER, TX — Friday morning, a Sweetwater High School pep rally was interrupted with a fight between a student and a school employee. Witnesses told KTXS that the school employee is a truancy prevention officer named Curt Crisp.

A video of the fight is circulating on social media.

That could all be cured by going back in time. About 40 years ago if that happened, the kid would be dragged to the Principles office by a couple of coaches and after half a dozen whacks that sounded like gun shots from a wooden 1x6 paddle filled with holes, that would forever after be the schools most politest student on campus.......

While I agree, kids need to still get "licks" in school. I'm sure the parents crying about a principal spanking their child are the same parents with kids causing all the trouble. However, watching that video we have no idea what started the altercation; and regardless of what started it if a "staff member" put their hands on my child in THAT manner; you can bet your a$$ I'd put my hands on that truancy officer!
