Packed Courtroom for Alvarado Capital Murder Pretrial Friday Afternoon

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Family and friends of murder victims Jimmy Gonzalez and Anthony Martinez packed courtroom C in the Tom Green County courthouse for a pretrial hearing for accused murderer Raymond Alvarado.  

Alvarado is standing trial on capital murder charges in the shooting deaths of Gonzalez and Martinez.  

Prosecuting attorneys and defense attorneys presented District Judge Ben Woodward with 39 pretrial motions determining how witnesses and evidence will be handled in the jury trial.  

The next pretrial hearing for Alvarado is set for November 6 at 1:30 p.m.  The jury trial is set for January 25, 2018.
