Goodfellow Air Force Base Airman Arrested for Online Solicitation of a Minor

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- On Thursday, 31 people were arrested in Tom Green County.  An Active Duty Airman identified as Robert Dean Brice, 22, of Alabama, has been arrested in connection with an investigation into the online solicitation of a minor.

Brice was taken into custody near Bell Park, 515 Lowrie Street, at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017. The arrest came as a result of a joint investigation involving the San Angelo Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit and the United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations.

Brice was charged with Online Solicitation of Minor Under the Age of 14 and was transported to the Tom Green County Jail. Additional charges may be forthcoming pending the outcome of this ongoing investigation.

Brice is stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base.

There were 12 arrested on complaints and 16 arrested on warrants Thursday.  The charges ranged from assault of a family member to possession of a controlled substance to failing to register as a sex offender.
