Police Release More Information on Love Shack Robbery

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the aggravated robbery that occurred at the Love Shack Express, located at 1807 South Lincoln Street, yesterday afternoon.

At approximately, 2:15 p.m., San Angelo Police were dispatched to the location for the report of a robbery.  The complainant told responding officers that at approximately 12:00 p.m., a Hispanic male entered the store and asked to see water pipes that were on display.  After inspecting a large glass water pipe, the suspect stated, “I’ll take it”, walked towards the door with the pipe, pointed a gun at the clerk, and left the store. The San Angelo Police Department now reports that the suspect fled the location in a white Nissan Altima.

The robbery took place at approximately 12:00 p.m., but the police weren't dispatched until 2:15 p.m.! Was it lunch break at the SAPD or was the complainant in no hurry to report the incident?
