Cars Spin Out of Control Onto Sidewalk After Driver Disregards a Stop Sign

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A late afternoon crash at the intersection of Irving Street and Avenue B sent two vehicles spinning out of control.

According to San Angelo Police Department's investigating officer Welch, a red Nissan Sentra was southbound on Irving St. when the driver of a blue Ford Ranger disregarded a stop sign and T-boned the Nissan. The impact sent both vehicles spinning in the intersection. 

As the vehicles spun out, the Ranger hit the Nissan again head on, driving the cars up onto the sidewalk, narrowly missing a power pole and nearby building. 

The driver of the Nissan had non incapacitating injuries and was treated at the scene. 

The driver of the Ranger was cited for disregarding a stop sign.
