Man Back In Jail After Breaking His Parole From a Drug Charge

 

SAN ANGELO, TEXAS -- On Monday, 17 people were arrested in Tom Green County. One of the more serious charges was for an Assault Causing Bodily Injury.

Humberto Morales Jr., 35, was arrested by San Angelo Police for an assault charge committed in May of this year. He was booked into the Tom Green County Jail just after 6 p.m. Monday on a $1,000 bond.

Morales has a previous drug charge, Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a First Degree Felony, from Oct. 30, 2013. He was arrested on a $50,000 bond.

Morales pled guilty to the Manufacturing and Delivery offense on April 1, 2014 and was sentenced to seven years in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He was released on parole in Nov. of 2016, according to court documents.
