KIMBLE, COUNTY -- Around 7 p.m. yesterday, Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a two-vehicle roll-over accident that left two dead and three severely injured 14 miles north of Junction.
A preliminary investigation report shows that a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro was traveling southbound on US-83 and a 2003 F-350, towing a third vehicle, was traveling northbound on US-83, when the Camaro began driving on the wrong side of the road entering the northbound lane but traveling southbound. The driver of the F-350, in an attempt to avoid the oncoming Camaro, swerved to the left towards the southbound lane. The truck came to a rest upside down in the west barrow ditch and the Camaro came to a rest in the roadway. The trucks towed vehicle came undone during the collision and came to a rest on the roadway.

Zachary Kilian was not wearing his seatbelt. Passengers Carla Kilian, 55, and Travis John Kilian, 20, were both pronounced dead on the scene by Judge Peggy Ragsdale. Carla Kilian was not wearing her seatbelt. The passengers of the truck were all residents of San Antonio.
