SAN ANGELO, TEXAS -- Just after 12:00 a.m. this morning, San Angelo Police officers conducted a traffic stop on the driver of a white, 2002 Audi TT near Pulliam and Main Streets.
During the initial contact, the driver was observed holding a pipe commonly used to smoke narcotics with, detailed a San Angelo Police Department press release.
The driver, identified as William C. Contreras, 51, was immediately placed under arrest. During a search of Contreras’ vehicle incident to his arrest, officers located a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and Hydrocodone.
Contreras was charged with First Degree Felony Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Contreras was transported to the Tom Green County Jail without incident
