SAN ANGELO, TX – Angelo State University will be hosting its annual Teacher Fair that provides prospective educators the opportunity to interact with potential employers both in the area and in different states. ASU students who will be graduating in May with a teacher certification are invited to this event that will be held in the Junell Center on Tuesday, April 4.
At the event, which will run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., representatives of over 50 school districts and education employers from Texas, Arizona and Wisconsin will be available to answer questions.
San Angelo Independent School District and the school districts in Abilene, Andrews, Balmorhea, Bangs, Big Spring, Brownwood, Burkburnett, Burnet, Christoval, Coleman, Ector County, Ferris, Fort Stockton, Grape Creek, Hereford, Killeen, Llano, Lohn, Longview, Loraine, Lubbock, Magnolia, McCamey, Menard, Merkel, Mesquite, Midland, Monahans-Wickett-Pyote, Paint Rock, Rochelle, San Antonio, San Saba, Seminole, Snyder, Sonora, Stanton, Sterling City, Sweetwater, Taylor, Terrell County, Uvalde and Wylie will also be present at the event.
ASU College of Education, Association of Texas Professional Educators, Shannon Health, Texas Teachers, Region 9 Education Service Center, Teacher Job Network, School District of Beloit, Wis., and Whiteriver Unified School District of Whiteriver, Ariz will be present for educators that are considering relocation.
