Disgruntled Husband Has Axe To Grind With Wife

ODESSA, TX –  Sean Adam Vallejo, 33, was arrested this past Friday after officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 2400 block of East 8th Street. Vallejo had been involved in an altercation with his wife and he then attempted to take their 8-year-old son in his vehicle.

According to a press release by Odessa PD, the couple got into an argument, and Vallejo forced the 8-year-old boy into the vehicle. He then proceeded to ask his wife for money and stole her purse after he tried to pull her out of the car.

But the altercation did not end there as Vallejo proceeded to use an axe to smash several of the windows in his car’s wife while their other child, age 4, was in the vehicle. He fled the scene and was later located at the 5900 Block of Fort Worth St.

There were no reports of any injuries sustained by the victims, and Vallejo was charged with Robbery, a second degree felony, and Endangering A Child, a state jail felony, and for a felony parole violation warrant.

Vallejo was transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center and CPS was notified about the incident.
