The Health Department Offers Free STD/HIV Screenings

 

SAN ANGELO, TEXAS – April is STD Awareness month, and to bring awareness to the community, the San Angelo – Tom Green County Health Department is offering free tests for sexually transmitted diseases and for HIV today and April 3.

The free STD/HIV testing will take place today from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Health Department, located in Suite 8 at 2030 Pullium St. No appointments are necessary and walk-ins are welcome.

On April 3, the free screenings will take place at Angelo State University. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Although the efforts are meant to target ASU students, no one will be turned away.

The Health Department offices will be closed Monday, April 3.
