Arrests: Man Charged with Terroristic Threat Against Peace Officer

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - Since our last update, 16 people made their way to the Tom Green County Jail, including a man who was arrested for terroristic threat against a peace officer. 

Francisco Delarosa Jr., 40, was arrested Thursday evening after police dispatched to the 700 block of E. Riverside Ave. for a welfare concern. Delarosa was throwing rocks at responding officers and their vehicles.

He was taken into custody just prior to his attempted assault on one officer with a large chunk of asphalt, according to the SAPD arrest blotter. His bond for the charge totals $500.

Delarosa has two previous convictions for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. 

Overall, out of the 16 arrest, 10 people had outstanding warrants; five arrestees went to jail for new crimes; and one person went to the TGCJ for both.  

The following crimes made the new complaint list:

  • Public Intoxication: 2
  • Possession of Controlled Substance: 2
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: 1
  • Terroristic Threat Against Peace Officer: 1
  • Driving While Intoxicated: 1
  • Assault Class C Misdemeanor: 1
