Abilene Man Indicted By Grand Jury For Indecency With Child

 

Abilene, TX – After being arrested for two counts of sexual indecency with a child, Derrick Andrew Chappa, 29, was indicted by a grand jury in Abilene for these crimes.

According to a local news source, court documents revealed that Chappa had taken off his pants and climbed into a 6-year-old’s bed. After pressing his body against the victim, he reportedly refused to let the victim go.

Chappa was initially arrested on Dec. 20, and was held at the Taylor County Jail for the indecency charge, possession of marijuana and fraudulent possession of identification.
