SAN ANGELO, TX - This evening, at 5:46 p.m., law enforcement arrested and booked 60-year-old Brenda Wright for Capital Murder of a Peace Officer or Fireman.
According to jail records, Wright is being held with no bond.
Although confirmation is pending, Wright may be associated with today's officer-involved shooting. The Tom Green County Appraisal District lists Wright as co-owner of the residence at 1205 E. 21st St., which caught fire today, and is the location where a man with a long gun confronted police.
San Angelo Police confirmed this evening that the suspect is in critical condition, and Texas Rangers are investigating this case. For our original story, click here.
